What Is Air Con
Air con is essentially any piece that has larger openings throughout the fabrication. It’s not so much of a mesh piece but and open holed lace, knit, woven, beaded, denim… Anything you can imagine having pretty large and consistent cut outs works in this category.
Vogue coined this term for the public in their roundup of trends for the summer, so you may not be seeing the term everywhere yet, but you’re about to at least see the style all over!

How To Make It Appropriate
The whole trick to this kind of trend is styling it in such a way that works for where you’re going… While you’re looking at a top that’s barely there with how many holes are in it, the goal is to layer it over a bikini and keep the summery look while wearing a top, or put a bodysuit under it to make it a complete blouse, but with the cool layering effect.
There’s so many ways to make these work for you whether you’re on the beach or at dinner back home.
