It’s that time of year… Wondering what to wear to a baseball game?

It’s America’s favorite pass-time, and you need a great outfit for the great American sport.

Dressing for sports is easy when you don’t care too much since it’s so casual, but I love to feel festive and on theme myself, so if you’re like me, you’re in the right place!

You can never go wrong with a pair of jeans and a team tee, but spicing it up always makes for a super fun feeling outfit.

What Do You Wear To A Baseball Game?

Wondering what to wear to a baseball game is super valid, especially if you’re not usually hanging out in more sporty scenes. It can be tough to decide what kind of look you want to go for.

My team won the World Series this year, so we’ve been going to games a lot lately, and my outfits vary.

    • A cute team shirt in a vintage style with a pair of comfy biker shorts with your favorite sneakers is a classic look that I love. I tend to add some bracelet stacks with it to make it at least a little girly.
    • Black jeans with a crop top in a team color adds something a little flirty and easy to go out in after the game.
    • Team jersey as a dress or a top is an elite game day look.

I’ve been caught in the stands in an unrelated tee shirt and pair of denim shorts too, you don’t have to be totally decked out. But it’s more fun if you are in my book!

Accessories Ideas

Sometimes the best way to dress in a certain theme is to wear something pretty basic but then add in the colors and accessory pieces that make it more on theme and on brand.

Here are some accessories to consider as part of the look:

  • Hat with team logo or generic in team color.
  • Necklace with team logo.
  • Earrings in team color.
  • Sneakers with coordinating accent colors.
  • Denim jacket with an embroidered logo.

I always say that accessories make the outfit… And these are some of the best ideas for the baseball season!

A casual cute denim outfit

Baseball is one of the more social of the sports outings for me… It might be slow but it’s fun to watch when you’re paying attention as well as fun to tune into a conversation with your bestie (and grab a couple of outfit pics while you’re at it!)

I love that it’s so acceptable to be so casual but also dressed up a little bit. Who doesn’t love a themed outfit?

While you’re piecing these together, remember how long a baseball game is and that part of the excitement is the food and drinks you can munch on while you’re there. In other words, just don’t grab your standing jeans for a sitting sport!
