What Are Graphic Stripes?

The term can be misleading if your whole life you’ve just called them “stripes.”

There really isn’t a specific type of stripe that falls into the graphic style, but it does kind of have more of a graphic feel to it than pinstripes or classic stripes.

It’s all about the vibe… And that’s kind of really fitting.

Stripes In Fashion This Year

Yes! Patterns in general are in, but even more specifically, stripes are big.

Every kind of stripe too: graphic, pinstripe, classic, vertical, horizontal… Pair it with a mismatched stripe, pair it with something solid, pair it with another pattern. You’re working with something that has a lot of versatility, and that can totally be intimidating, but I think stripes are easy. They make anything cool without really trying.

Pattern lovers like me, you probably have some really cool ideas for putting these pieces together yourself. But it’s always fun to pull external inspiration too, anyway.

Whatever your style really is, there’s a version of the graphic stripes trend for you.

Maybe you like a subtle statement, maybe you like a bold one. It’s all cool. And you might just find your new look by trying something new. I love experimenting with fashion!
